Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has launched a blistering attack on former Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, reviving allegations linked to the controversial Finland education programme. Speaking angrily, Sudi accused Mandago of mismanaging and allegedly diverting funds meant for students who were taken abroad to study.
Sudi claimed that while serving as governor, Mandago “ate” money contributed by parents and well‑wishers to support students, arguing that the scheme betrayed families who sacrificed heavily for their children’s education. He went as far as demanding a refund, saying he personally contributed funds to help many students travel to Finland, only for the programme to collapse amid controversy.
The MP dismissed Mandago’s current political posture, telling him to “reduce nonsense” and first account for the unresolved issues surrounding the Finland saga. According to Sudi, leaders cannot lecture others on integrity while serious questions remain about their own past actions.
The exchange adds to the long‑running political fallout from the Finland education programme, which has continued to haunt Mandago’s career. While Mandago has previously denied wrongdoing and maintained that the matter is before relevant authorities, Sudi’s remarks have reignited public debate over accountability, leadership, and justice for affected students and parents.
