Bishop Ben Kiengei of Jesus Compassion Ministries (JCM) has once again made headlines, this time standing firm as a servant of God committed to defending the integrity of the gospel while addressing growing family tensions surrounding the popular content creator Kaluma Boy.
Known for his passionate preaching and unwavering belief in the power of prayer, Bishop Kiengei continues to encourage believers to seek peace and solace through faith. Prayer, he says, remains the cornerstone of his ministry, shaping every aspect of a believer’s spiritual journey.
Recently, the bishop took issue with Kaluma Boy’s paternal uncle, who has been accused of unfairly profiling Mama Kaluma and fueling unnecessary family drama. Kiengei condemned the uncle’s actions, suggesting that such behavior only serves to humiliate and divide rather than unite the family.
The controversy stems from a trending audio clip allegedly featuring Kaluma’s uncle, who lamented that he and other paternal relatives had been excluded from family matters. In the recording, the uncle expressed resentment toward Kaluma’s mother, implying that she had sidelined them and possibly benefited from the father’s illness.
Responding to the clip, Bishop Kiengei urged the family to put an end to public humiliation and embrace unity instead. He encouraged them to focus on love, reconciliation, and prayer, assuring them that great blessings lie ahead for Kaluma Boy and his family.
“We are seeing very far, uncle. Your brother will come back home walking, and his family will shine forever. Allow your kids also to join TikTok — maybe they might be lucky. Great things await Kaluma Boy,” the bishop remarked.
Kiengei’s message was one of hope and restoration, reminding Kenyans that families should not tear each other apart over differences. Instead, they should stand together in prayer and forgiveness, trusting that God’s favor will always prevail.
