Kenyans online can’t stop laughing after a bizarre yet hilarious video of a Guardian Bus journey from Western Kenya to Nairobi surfaced on social media.
According to the now-viral clip, the bus had to make an unscheduled stop when a restless chicken broke free inside the vehicle and sprinted straight into the nearby bushes. What followed was nothing short of a comedy skit.
About seven male passengers immediately jumped off the bus, chasing after the runaway bird. In scenes that could rival a football match, they surrounded the thickets from different sides, attempting to corner and capture the chicken.
Meanwhile, other passengers who stayed inside the bus turned into an excited audience, cheering, laughing, and recording the hilarious drama.
The impromptu chase reportedly lasted nearly three minutes before the determined men finally caught the chicken, bringing the unexpected roadside entertainment to an end.
