According to Wanjiru, she was promised a life full of wealth, success, and comfort. She was told that joining the Freemasons would open doors to power, money, and global recognition. At the time, she was young and ambitious, looking for a better life.
But after joining, she began to notice strange things happening. Her peace of mind disappeared, and she started having troubling dreams. Despite getting more money, she felt empty inside. She also felt distant from God and her spiritual path. Slowly, her personal life and relationships started falling apart.
Eventually, she realized that the promises were false. Instead of riches and joy, she found confusion and sadness. She decided to leave the group and turn her life around. It wasn’t easy, but through prayer and faith, she says she found healing and purpose again.
Today, Bishop Wanjiru shares her story to warn others. She urges young people and leaders not to be tempted by shortcuts to success. “Not all that glitters is gold,” she said in a video shared on social media.
