Reggae enthusiast Ras Stephen Bhingi has once again found himself in a difficult situation, struggling to raise KSh 2,500 for his house rent. This comes just four months after Kenyans generously donated KSh 300,000 to assist him.
Earlier this year, comedian Eric Omondi spearheaded a crowdfunding campaign that raised KSh 311,000 for Bhingi after his home was flooded due to heavy rains. The funds were used to pay his rent for a year and to buy new furniture.
Despite this support, Bhingi is now facing eviction and has made a heartfelt appeal for assistance.
In a recent message shared by Ghetto Radio, Bhingi expressed his worry about being unable to pay his rent and emphasized his need for a job.
He stated, “I really need help. I haven’t paid rent. I am appealing to Kenyans to support me. But the most important thing is a job. I’m really looking for a job”
