The arduous task of securing employment in the capital city began immediately upon settling at her friend’s house. Unfortunately, she often encountered less competitive opportunities offering meager daily pay, as low as Ksh. 200.
Rejecting such low-paying jobs due to their inability to cover her daily expenses, Mungai Eve eventually secured a job in Isili with a more reasonable salary of Ksh. 6,000. This strenuous position provided her with the exposure she needed to progress.

Assisted by her Kisii boyfriend, Mungai Eve initially managed people’s Instagram accounts for a weekly pay of Ksh. 1,000. The idea to venture into YouTube came from Trevor, her photographer boyfriend.
