Pastor Ngang’a Confesses to Having Little Knowledge About God: “Sitaki Kumjua Sana”

Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism is no unfamiliar figure when it comes to generating controversy. His unreserved approach to addressing various issues, along with his penchant for engaging with contentious topics head-on, has thrust him into the spotlight once again. Recently, a video featuring him made waves, where he discouraged individuals with academic degrees from attending his church. This unexpected statement from Ng’ang’a raised many questions about his motivations.

In the video, Ng’ang’a expressed his reservations about the influence of educated individuals on societal matters, with particular emphasis on issues like homosexuality. He exclaimed, “Degree holders, please refrain from coming to the location where I preach. Seek your spiritual fulfillment in churches where shorter services are held, lasting only two minutes. The intricacies of spiritual matters are beyond your control. Let’s coexist with mutual respect. Note that David and the prophets he anointed were not scholars. The educated have played a role in what I see as the degradation of the world. They have contributed to the promotion of homosexuality, even with the approval of judges.”

The question of whether Pastor Ng’ang’a is a genuine man of God becomes increasingly complex. In a rather unconventional TikTok video, he openly admitted to having limited knowledge about God, despite his position as a spiritual leader. To everyone’s surprise, he conveyed his disinterest in delving deeply into the study of God, suggesting that such an endeavor could potentially lead to his untimely demise. He straightforwardly said, “I apologize, but I do not possess an extensive understanding of God. Moreover, I lack the desire to explore this comprehension further because it might endanger my life.”

These recent statements and actions by Pastor Ng’ang’a have raised significant doubts about his qualifications as a spiritual leader and have left many questioning the authenticity of his commitment to the spiritual path.
