The sudden disappearance of Denis Schweizer’s presence on social media has left Kenyans bewildered, sparking speculations that he and Akothee might have parted ways.
Denis Schweizer, affectionately referred to as Omosh by his Kenyan wife, had garnered a substantial following on Instagram, boasting 72.8k followers before his profile mysteriously vanished.
Reports have indicated that his Facebook account is also inaccessible, prompting questions about whether these accounts were deactivated or permanently deleted.
His missing profiles prominently featured images from his opulent wedding with Akothee, a grand ceremony that took place in April at the Windsor Hotel.
Akothee, the celebrated Kenyan singer-turned-entrepreneur, has yet to make any public statements addressing these rumors. However, she recently shared a heartfelt post that provided insight into her struggles and emotional journey over the past few months.
In her candid revelation, Akothee disclosed that she had been quietly undergoing therapy and healing following a challenging phase in her life. She opened up about the profound emotional distress she endured, recounting moments when she had to endure hunger and sleeplessness while grappling with her emotions.
“I have emerged from a deeply challenging period and have been on a journey of private healing,” Akothee wrote, describing her therapy experience. “The trauma I experienced after discovering the truth and some difficult revelations left me shaken.” She expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support she received from her former manager, Nelly Okas, her children, and a few close friends during this trying time.
Akothee particularly acknowledged Nelly Oaks for his constant support, highlighting how he regularly checked on her and provided solace.
Despite maintaining a brave facade, Akothee admitted that she often concealed her struggles while battling her inner demons. She expressed her appreciation for the love and care extended by her children, especially her daughters, who went to great lengths to ensure her well-being. Rue, one of her daughters, even traveled to Europe to stand by her side, offering continuous support and care until she could regain her footing.
Furthermore, Akothee shared the financial strain she faced due to the expenses associated with therapy, noting that each session cost KSh 50,000. Despite these challenges, she remained resolute and determined to conquer her adversities.
