Tanzanian songstress Ruby recently unveiled a disturbing revelation about her past relationship, disclosing that her former boyfriend had ensnared her with dark magic.
In an interview with Wasafi FM, Ruby candidly acknowledged her predicament, expressing her powerlessness in the face of this supernatural ordeal.
According to Ruby, her erstwhile partner had subjected her to a series of occult rituals in his village, with the sinister aim of coercing her into loving him.
“I am currently content and fulfilled in my present relationship. There’s no need to conceal anything; I wouldn’t have brought this up if it weren’t necessary. I’m not bewitched because I’m not hiding anything. The previous relationship left me under a spell,” Ruby revealed.
In her narration, Ruby recounted how she was initially reluctant to visit her ex-boyfriend’s village but eventually succumbed to his insistence. Little did she know that her visit would take a sinister turn. She had expected to meet his family and perhaps bond with them, but instead, she was taken to a remote location deep within the woods.
“I thought I was going home, perhaps to meet his mother, but instead, I ended up in a forest surrounded by strange trees. I felt trapped and couldn’t leave. I didn’t know where I was headed,” she confided.
This revelation comes after Ruby’s tumultuous breakup with her former spouse, Kusah, in 2019, which was marred by allegations of domestic abuse and ingratitude. Ruby shared her experiences of enduring physical and emotional abuse while dedicating significant effort to promoting Kusah’s music career.
“I endured physical violence, suffering, and all sorts of cruelty. I went through all of that because of a man who came into my life so I could assist him with his music. I supported him with everything I had because I believed in his talent. I even used my name and influence to introduce him to established artists who could help him. But in the end, he accused me of inappropriate relationships with respected figures like Diamond and Juma Jux. I respect these artists deeply. I am exhausted, and I have decided to move on before things worsen,” Ruby shared in a heartfelt social media post.
