Akothee, the renowned singer, and her partner Omondi, who hails from Europe, are eagerly anticipating their upcoming white wedding, set to take place in just a few days.
Recently, upon returning from Europe after purchasing her wedding gown, the mother of five shared insights about her soon-to-be husband’s interactions with her children during an interview with vloggers at JKIA.
Akothee expressed how much her children adore Omondi, acknowledging his exceptional ability to communicate effectively with them. She praised his brilliance in handling her children and emphasized their deep affection for him.
However, despite their strong bond, the 43-year-old musician revealed that her children do not address Omondi as “daddy.” Rather, they refer to him by his given name, as they have reached a level of maturity and understanding where they feel more comfortable using his real name.
Akothee humorously mentioned that her three daughters now have the responsibility of calling their own husbands “daddy.”
A week ago, Akothee embarked on a trip to Europe, where she had the opportunity to visit Switzerland and France. She shared that her primary purpose for the visit was to acquire important items, including her wedding dress and underwear. In particular, she emphasized her preference for purchasing underwear abroad, deeming it an essential consideration.
Regrettably, due to ongoing protests in France, Akothee was unable to visit or reunite with her two young children who reside there. She explained that the transportation disruptions caused by the strikes made it extremely challenging for her to reach the area where her children live, requiring a taxi to Paris followed by a four-hour train journey. Consequently, she expressed her disappointment at being unable to see her children during her European trip.
Nevertheless, Akothee conveyed her joy in meeting her fiancé and spending quality time together during her visit.
