During the launch of Flair by Betty, Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, announced that former Kiss 100 radio presenter Kamene Goro is making a comeback to radio. Kamene and Jalang’o built a strong rapport while working together at Radio Africa group. They even became friends outside of work, attending events and gigs together.
Jalang’o revealed that he met with Kamene the previous evening and that she is doing well. He mentioned that Kamene is passionate about radio and will be joining a radio station soon, although he did not disclose which one.
Kamene left Kiss 100 at the end of February after working there for three and a half years. She clarified that she was not sacked but rather chose not to renew her contract because she wanted to focus on something else.
Overall, it seems like Kamene is in a good place and ready to return to the airwaves, with the support of her friend and colleague Jalang’o.
