Maragua MP, Mary Wamaua is said to have been thrown out of Raila’s Azimio la Umoja Convention in Kasarani yesterday, December 10, 2021 by the event’s security.
She claimed that she arrived at the event peacefully but was left traumatized by how the security officials reportedly manhandled her.
The staunch DP Ruto supporter also claimed that the security barred her from accessing delegates designated areas.
In a video that has since gone viral, the MP could be heard reprimanding the guards.
“How can you push me around like a bag of potatoes when I am an elected legislator?” Wamaua quizzed.
“If you can do this right now, how will you act if you (ODM) clinch the presidency next year?” she asked.
