The man was arrested at a secondary in Nandi County after he impersonated a candidate.
According to the area police, the man identified as Geoffrey Rono was busted pretending to be one Cleophas Kavulavu, a student at Ndurio secondary school in Nandi South on Friday, March 26.

Confirming the incident, Nandi County Deputy commissioner, John Tanui said that they arrested the man after he was found unlawfully sitting the first exam, English Paper 1.
“The man was arrested while preparing for another exam and we had to wait for him to send his ID card from home. He hesitated but our officers realized that he was impersonating another candidate in the same school,” John Tanui confirmed.
Geoffrey was transferred to the area police station awaiting trial.
