NRG Radio bids farewell to yet another cherished voice as ShaqtheYungin, also known as Shaquille O’Neill Oduk, departs from the station. After an enriching six-year journey with NRG Radio, the presenter announced his resignation on Tuesday, expressing profound gratitude for the opportunity extended to him by the management, alongside heartfelt appreciation for his colleagues and the dedicated listeners who have been steadfast supporters throughout his tenure.
“After six years at NRG Radio, I am announcing my departure from the company. I am deeply thankful for the chance afforded to me by the management. My farewell extends to my colleagues, the management, and most significantly, to the fans who faithfully tuned in over the past six years while I occupied the airwaves. As I embark on the next chapter of my career, I anticipate new opportunities and humbly seek your continued support,” shared ShaqtheYungin.
While confirming his readiness for a new venture, ShaqtheYungin opted to keep details of his next career move under wraps. “Speculation about my destination is futile; I alone hold that knowledge! Until next time, catch me out there,” he remarked.
ShaqtheYungin’s departure marks the latest in a series of exits from NRG Radio, following the earlier resignations of two other prominent presenters, Mwalimu Rachel and DJ Xclusive, who also concluded their six-year tenures with the station in March. The duo has since transitioned to new roles within the Radio Africa Group, embarking on fresh professional journeys.
