Deputy President William Ruto shocked a lady hawking maize by the roadside in Machakos town after he halted his motorcade and showered her with cash.
The lady shed tears of joy after Ruto purchased each maize at Ksh 10,000.
She sold 5 pieces of maize to the Deputy President and headed back home with Ksh 50,000.
In the photographs shared by Dennis Itumbi, the lady is seen bursting in bliss while holding wads of money gifted to her by the DP after hitting the jackpot.
