Comedian Oga Obinna traveled all the way from Nairobi to Wamunyoro to interview former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua — and he returned home with more than just a great story. Gachagua, together with his wife Dorcus, decided to support Obinna’s upcoming comedy show by purchasing 300 tickets worth Ksh. 450,000.
Each ticket costs Ksh. 1,500, and the couple specified that 150 tickets were meant for male fans, while the remaining 150 were reserved for female fans. While making the purchase, Gachagua expressed his passion for supporting young people, especially those from Generation Z. He even hinted that, if his schedule allows, he might attend the special comedy event in person.
Obinna’s stand-up comedy show is scheduled for June 11, and with Gachagua already sponsoring 300 attendees, the comedian is expecting a full house of about 800 people. With such a strong show of support from the former deputy president, Obinna couldn’t be more excited.
