“Wanafanya UMALAY*A kwa Mkahawa Yangu” Pastor NGANG’A Reason For Closing His Lavish HOTEL

Controversial city preacher James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism recently revealed his decision to close down his hotel business, citing conflicts with his religious principles.

According to the charismatic clergyman, the reason behind shutting down the hotel was the involvement of his staff in activities that contradicted his spiritual teachings. His employees were allegedly selling condoms and renting rooms to individuals seeking extramarital affairs.

In his own words, Pastor Ng’ang’a explained, “I closed the hotel because the business that was taking place there contradicted my preaching. The profits from that venture felt tainted and unholy. Many of our patrons were married individuals looking for discreet encounters, engaging in what can only be described as immoral behavior.”

Ng’ang’a expressed deep regret over entering the hotel business, emphasizing that it had not yielded any financial gains in the past decade. He urged his fellow pastors to reconsider running hotels and proposed that, if they do own such establishments, they should consider leasing them out to others instead of actively managing them.

He advised, “I would not recommend that pastors get involved in the hotel industry. If you own a hotel, it’s better to lease it out rather than being directly involved in its operation. Such ventures can inadvertently be exploited by negative influences.”

The flamboyant preacher was responsible for the establishment of the well-known Newstead Hotel (formerly known as Sunny Hill Hotel), situated along the Nakuru-Nairobi road.

In April of this year, Pastor Ng’ang’a had announced his intention to sell the hotel for Ksh 800 million, with room for negotiation, as he sought funds to expand his ministry in the United States. However, after failing to find a buyer, he ultimately decided to lease the upscale hotel instead.
