1. The Prism Tower

The building located along Third Ngong Avenue is to appear as prisms stacked on top of each other.

Developed by Kings Developers Limited, a Kenyan-owned real estate company, the building has 28 levels of office spaces, five levels of parking and one level for reception and recreation.

The skyscraper boasts landscaped gardens, a gym, steam, sauna and swimming pool.

Prism Tower is closely monitored around the clock with CCTV cameras keeping a close watch on visitors.

According to the developers, the building has rainwater harvesting systems that ensure water is conserved and re-used.

2. Britam Tower


Located in Upper Hill, Britam Tower is Kenya’s tallest building. The building is 133 metres high with a spire of 67 metres at the top, bringing the total height to 200 meters.

The 31-storey building has an adjacent 11-storey parking silo and three basement parking levels. Combined, they can accommodate 1,000 cars.

The developers say that one can see Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania from the top of the building on a clear day.

3. One Africa

The dome-shaped building with a glass facade is located in Westlands.

The building boasts facial recognition cameras, mechanised parking systems and marble lobbies on each level.

The building has 21 floors with a triple-height entrance lobby and double-glazed solar efficient windows.

4. FCB Mihrab


The distinct building featuring Arabic-inspired architecture is located along Lenana Road in Kilimani.

The 19-floor building is founded on Islamic values and has a prayer room, gym, cafeteria, among other facilities.

In line with Islamic values, some activities, including selling and using alcohol and pork products, gambling and lottery businesses, are banned.

5. Le’Mac

The 24-storey commercial and residential building is located in Westlands. Le’Mac boats a skywalk at 100 metres above ground, a first of its kind in Kenya.
