Kenyan content creator and entrepreneur, Thee Pluto, has extended a helping hand to a deserving student by offering to sponsor her entire high school education. Taking to social media, Thee Pluto disclosed that the beneficiary, a promising individual with aspirations of becoming a lawyer, secured admission to St George’s Girls Nairobi.
The philanthropic gesture unfolded after Thee Pluto conducted a thorough background check on the student, named Maimuna Abubakar, who had initially faced a bleak future despite scoring an impressive 389 in her KCPE exams. Expressing gratitude to a higher power, Thee Pluto acknowledged the providence of resources that empowered him to contribute to society in this meaningful way.
In a post on social media, Thee Pluto shared, “Today St George’s Girls Nairobi enrolled a bright student who has a bright future and an aspiration of being a lawyer. Few days ago, she was hopeless of joining a secondary school even after scoring 389 in her KCPE exams. After thorough background checkup, I settled my mind on sponsoring her high school education. I take this chance to thank God for providing me with resources to do this. I wish you well Maimuna Abubakar. May Allah make it easy for you, InshaAllah 🙏🏽.”
This act of benevolence follows Thee Pluto’s expressed interest, post the release of KCSE results the previous year, in sponsoring a child who excelled in the examinations but hailed from an economically disadvantaged background, unable to afford secondary education.
“I am looking forward to sponsoring one child who has passed in his/her KCPE exams. The selected student must be in need and unable to fully afford secondary education.
