Murang’a Woman Representative, Sabina Chege, has excused claims that she said the Jubilee Party government stole Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s win in 2017.
Sabina said she didn’t also say that the government with assistance of the deep state is intending to take the 2022 presidential election in favour of Raila Odinga.
She blamed the media for twisting what she said in Vihiga County to divide Kenyans, particularly Mt Kenya residents who love Jubilee Party and its chief President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Where in my speech did I say we stole votes? This is a creation of the media.
“I told the people of Vihiga county that elections are won way before the election by registering one’s support… That is exactly what I meant,” Sabina said.
Numerous Kenyans, particularly Deputy President William Ruto’s allies have been attacking Sabina, asserting she disregarded President Uhuru Kenyatta for saying he rigged the 2017 Presidential election.
