The Murang’a County Women Rep admitted that Ruto’s UDA party has the numbers for their candidate, Ka Wanjiku, to win the Kiambaa Constituency seat which fell vacant after the death of Paul Koinange.
Sabina said that the Jubilee Party has a very big task of winning the seat in the ongoing By-elections being held today.
In what seems like a two horse race between Jubilee’s, Kariri Njama and UDAs, John Wanjiku, the mini polls will shape Mt Kenya’s 2022 politics.
On an interview with Kameme TV, Sabina, admitted that Ruto has made inroads in Mt Kenya Kenya Region and has won himself a fortune.
“We know DP Ruto has numbers in Kiambaa but we pray to God our candidate, Kariri Njama wins the high stake by-election,” Sabina said.
Meanwhile, Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko has implied that the Kiambaa By-elections will shape the 2022 general elections.
“From my little political experience, believe me, this Kiambaa By-election is like a presidential election. The outcome might determine the political trajectory of the Mountain,” Sonko said.
