Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka is set to make a significant declaration this week in regards to the August 9 General Election a move that has kept political players anxious.
As per Deputy President William Ruto’s blogger and planner Dennis Itumbi, Kalonzo is expected to announce his intent to join Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja Movement.
“HNIB agents are reporting that after two days of highly classified meetings, hosted in the State House. OKA in a presser today will announce an intent to work with Jubilee and Azimio,
“OKA is expected to negotiate two separate agreements, one with Jubilee and another with Azimio,” Itumbi wrote on his Twitter handle.
Itumbi noted Kalonzo was not happy with Raila’s candidature however was persuaded to check out the master plan of defeating Deputy President William Ruto.
“Do not worry about the candidate, let us focus on the common enemy,’’ Itumbi tweeted.
Since ANC pioneer Musalia Mudavadi left OKA and held hands with DP Ruto, there has been theory of Kalonzo’s next course of action.
Despite the fact that the Wiper chief has recently ruled out working with the ODM leader, Musalia’s earthquake move put Kalonzo in an unsafe position.
“He has serious issues with Raila and Ruto. Going alone will be a guaranteed loss and joining any of them will require him to step down all issues he has raised or step down if he can,” Mutula said recently in relation to Kalonzo’s available options.
