Residents of Mutyambua town in Mbitini Ward, Nzaui Sub-County, Makueni, are reeling in shock after a female school principal was brutally killed inside her own home while her family watched in horror.
According to reports, the tragic incident occurred on Saturday morning when armed attackers stormed her residence. At the time, the principal was with her husband and their three children. The assailants descended on her, killing her in cold blood as her helpless family looked on.
Mutyambua Sub-Chief Justus Kiluva confirmed the incident, describing it as a heartbreaking tragedy that has left the entire community shaken and fearful.
The motive behind the killing remains unclear, sparking widespread concern among residents, who are now urging security agencies to act swiftly and bring those responsible to justice.
Police officers from Emali Police Station rushed to the scene, documented the incident, and later moved the body to Kilome Nursing Home Mortuary for a postmortem. Her husband, who was present during the attack, has been arrested to assist detectives with investigations.
