Ringtone Apoko has recently opened up about his tumultuous past before transitioning into a gospel artist and embracing a life devoted to Jesus and the teachings of God.
The singer felt compelled to address his past after Eric Omondi claimed that he was one of the gospel musicians engaging in inappropriate relationships with young women. According to Eric, Ringtone’s outward display of being born-again was a facade, alleging that he engaged in relationships with three women on a daily basis. Eric insisted that he possessed evidence confirming Ringtone’s moral shortcomings.
In response, Apoko admitted to a history of immorality, acknowledging that he once glorified women and indulged in a promiscuous lifestyle. He candidly shared that, during that period, he was remarkably adept in matters of intimacy, reportedly engaging with around 30 women daily.
Such a claim, if true, could potentially earn him a place in the Guinness World Records. However, Apoko declared that he underwent a transformative journey, renouncing his past behaviors to fully commit to a life centered around God. He asserted his newfound loyalty to God and claimed to have cleansed himself of sins.
Adding a positive note to his narrative, the musician disclosed that he has found his ideal life partner. He hinted at an imminent introduction of his new girlfriend, expressing his readiness to settle down. Kenyans can anticipate the announcement of his wedding, scheduled to take place later this year.
