President William Ruto has launched a sharp attack on Eugene Wamalwa, questioning his personal management and leadership abilities in a fiery political jab.
Speaking during a public address, Ruto dismissed Wamalwa as ineffective, claiming he has failed to properly manage even his own affairs. The Head of State alleged that Wamalwa’s livestock are dying due to tick infestations, while his farmland remains unproductive.
Ruto further claimed that the former Cabinet Secretary has resorted to leasing out his land for others to grow grass, instead of utilizing it himself. He also took a swipe at Wamalwa’s living situation, alleging that he has been unable to maintain a house left to him by his late brother and now lives in rented homes.
The remarks come amid rising political tensions, as leaders continue to trade accusations and defend their track records ahead of future political contests.
