“Stella alishuka amebeba mtoto mkononi”- Kenyans Still Waiting For Stella At The Airport As The Boyfriend Narrates The Sad Love Story.

From the 90’s, Stella Wangu has been a hit song toping charts since then.

The creator of the song was said to have been inspired by a Kenyan man who invested all his properties among them a car and pieces of land to sponsor her girlfriend’s education abroad.

The lady is then reported too have engaged with a Japanese man three years on.

The climax of the song is when Stella returns home and the Kenyan man goes to recieve her lover only to be met by a rude shock of Stella and a Short Japanese man and a little baby on 17th May 1992.

The song created by Freshely Mwamburu who witnessed his girlfriend step out of a plane with a foreigner together with their baby was the modern day example of a Slay Queen ‘eating’ fair sent by a man.

Mwamburu in the song narrated how he wailed in heartbreak of the investment he had made oon Stella who then later dropped him off like garbage.

He has since overcome the heartbreak and has three kids with his new wife who replaced Stella.
