Renowned Mugithi artist Samuel Muchoki, who is prominently known as Samidoh, was struggling with life in Githurai 45 before he made a leap forward in the competitive Kikuyu music industry.
In those days, he used to be a backup vocal artist for legendary Mugithi artist Kamande Wa Kioi.
suprisingly few women could admire him apart from his better half Eddah when he was living in a little single room in Githurai, a low-end neighborhood along Thika Road that is known for poverty and crime.
