Pastor Ezekiel Warns Women Against Wearing Multiple Earrings, Claims They Symbolize Certificates of Divorce

Controversial pastor Ezekiel Odero has ignited a social media firestorm with his recent claims that he possesses the unique ability to discern a woman’s marital status based on her choice of earrings.

During a sermon at his church, which quickly went viral on various online platforms, Pastor Ezekiel, who takes pride in his alleged skill in reconciling troubled marriages, asserted that women who adorn themselves with earrings, particularly if they wear more than three, are inadvertently inviting marital discord.

According to Pastor Ezekiel, the presence of more than three earrings serves as a direct indicator of a looming divorce in a woman’s life. He proclaimed, “There’s a man named Ezekiel whom God has granted the grace to mend the shattered bonds of matrimony. Some of you have experienced one divorce, while others have endured three. Do you desire to salvage your marriage?” He posed this question to a woman who had brought her marriage and divorce certificates to his church for guidance.

Before the woman could formulate a response, Pastor Ezekiel discerned that she had three earrings adorning one ear. In response, he audaciously remarked, “These are the certificates of divorce,” referring to the earrings on the woman’s ear. He further asserted, “Prostitutes often wear an abundance of such earrings. However, it is the spirit of divorce that compels you to wear them, convincing you that two earrings are insufficient and that you must wear three. This same spirit also influences your choice of revealing attire, encouraging you to display your chest and don short dresses. Why conceal your legs?” Ezekiel inquired.

The pastor went on to stress that it is the guiding influence of one’s inner spirit that shapes their decisions and behaviors.

In the wake of Pastor Ezekiel’s remarks, a tidal wave of controversy and debate has erupted online. Many have criticized his views as being archaic and judgmental.
