In a recent video that has sparked varied responses, Pastor Elizabeth Mokoro of the SDA church shared her unconventional views on relationships.
Renowned for her fearless and forthright teachings, Pastor Mokoro addressed a mixed audience, challenging societal norms.
Contrary to expectations, Pastor Mokoro expressed the belief that polygamy is not inherently wrong and proposed that married men should actively attract other women. She asserted that having mistresses, girlfriends, or other terms for additional partners does not negate the spiritual covenant between a man and his wife.
During the gathering, she specifically addressed women, urging them not to hastily abandon their marriages due to infidelity. She attributed such situations to the influence of the devil, suggesting that the introduction of a “strange woman” is a tactic aimed at creating discord between couples.
According to Pastor Mokoro, a man who attracts the attention of other women is a sign of his value. She contrasted this with men who are not pursued by anyone other than their wives, stating that a man without rivals is essentially useless. She emphasized that competition for a man’s affection is indicative of his desirability.
“If you have a man with whom you have no rival, then you have a useless man. Good things are fought over. If you see women vying for him, then you have a valuable man. So, play the game as it comes.”
Furthermore, she stressed that women do not compete for men arbitrarily but are drawn to specific qualities that wives may overlook. Mokoro conveyed that even wearing a wedding ring does not necessarily deter other women, highlighting the importance of women respecting and treating their men well.
