Oga Obinna lectures Babu owino’s secuirty-“Nyinyi security wa Babu, kuanzia leo msiende nyumbani mpaka muone Babu ameingia kwa bedroom na bibi yake. Don’t joke with a president in the making. Kuanzia leo,

Popular media personality Oga Obinna has sparked discussion after issuing a strong public message directed at Embakasi East MP Babu Owino’s security team, urging them to take the legislator’s safety more seriously.

In his remarks, Obinna emphasized that Babu Owino is no ordinary politician and should be treated as a high-value leader whose security must never be compromised. He stated that from now on, the security officers should not leave duty until they have personally confirmed that Babu has safely retired to his home. According to Obinna, this level of vigilance is necessary given the political environment and the growing influence of the outspoken lawmaker.

Obinna went further to describe Babu Owino as “a president in the making,” warning the security team against complacency. He insisted that Babu should never move with fewer than three armed security officers, arguing that visible and well-coordinated protection is essential for deterrence and safety.

The media personality also suggested that jealousy and political rivalry could pose a serious threat to the MP. He claimed that as Babu Owino continues to rise politically, he inevitably attracts envy from opponents who may wish him harm. For this reason, Obinna called on both the security team and the public to prioritize the legislator’s safety.

Obinna’s remarks have since generated mixed reactions online. Supporters agree that politicians with strong public followings face real security risks and deserve adequate protection. Critics, however, argue that such statements exaggerate the situation and promote unnecessary fear.

Regardless of differing opinions, Obinna’s message has reignited debate on the importance of political security in Kenya, especially for young and vocal leaders whose influence continues to grow on the national stage.
