Ringtone Apoko, who famously calls himself the chairman of Kenya’s gospel music industry, has finally weighed in on Esther Akothee’s wedding. His reaction, however, was filled with controversy. During an interview with an online media outlet, the gospel artist made some bold statements, even gifting Akothee a cheque worth Ksh 990,000.
Apoko stirred the pot when he declared that Akothee was the one who married Omosh, not the other way around. He boldly claimed that nobody could truly marry her, suggesting that she had taken the initiative to make the wedding happen and, in turn, married Omosh.
In a more personal revelation, Ringtone confessed his admiration for Akothee, describing her as the kind of woman he wants in his life. He even hinted that, should he fail to find a suitable partner, he might consider pursuing Akothee.
Apoko, who is still single, shared that his admiration for Akothee stemmed not just from her appearance but also from her bold personality and relentless energy. He praised her for being authentic and determined, qualities that he finds highly attractive.
Unlike Krg The Don, who chose to criticize Akothee’s wedding, Ringtone offered heartfelt congratulations to the couple, acknowledging that it was a truly royal celebration. To mark the occasion, he wrote a cheque for Ksh 990,000, encouraging Akothee to enjoy herself and spend it on whatever she desired.
However, Apoko didn’t stop there. He had a warning for Omosh, advising him to prepare for a difficult marriage. According to Apoko, since Akothee took the lead in their relationship, she would likely be the one in charge, and Omosh could expect a life of constant challenges, with her possibly being the one to “harass” him in the marriage.
