President Kenyatta has asked Kenyans to support Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate, Raila Odinga in his bid to win the presidency come August 9th.
Uhuru was speaking in Nakuru where he was commissioning the refurbished Nakuru Railway Station yesterday.
The president who did not name call, accused his Deputy, William Ruto and his allies of insulting him and his mother.
“Wananitusi kila siku. Umewahi kuona, nkiwajibu? Mungu atalipisha tu. Wananitukana mpaka wanatukana mamangu wa miaka mingi…(They insult me daily, have yu ever seen me responding? I leave it to God. They have even insulted my elderly mother),” he said.
He went on to ask the residents to vote in Raila as the fifth president.
“Nawauliza kwa heshima kubwa sana, kwa sababu hakuna kura ya kulazimisha…jameni shikeni huyu mzee (Raila) mkono jameni. (I am humbly asking you to stand with the old man (Raila).”
Uhuru also asked Ruto to cut the insults and respect the law before seeking the presidency.
