Nigerian Man Arrested With 200 grams Cocaine Worth Ksh.600K

A Nigerian citizen, Victor Chineye Ikone, was apprehended by the Anti-Narcotic Unit (ANU) detectives in Mombasa, Kenya, after being found in possession of approximately 200 grams of cocaine, valued at around Ksh. 600,000. The arrest occurred at the White House Apartments in the Utange-Kisauni area, following a meticulously planned operation based on intelligence gathered by law enforcement.

Mr. Ikone’s arrest was the culmination of a thorough investigation, during which the police conducted a raid on his rented residence within the White House Apartments. Subsequent presumptive tests confirmed the substance concealed within the premises to be cocaine. Additionally, materials suspected to be used for repackaging narcotics were discovered alongside the illicit substance.

Moreover, the search of the flat uncovered multiple SIM cards from various service providers, indicating potential involvement in broader criminal activities.

In light of these findings, the suspect was promptly taken into custody and escorted to the Port Police Station for further processing in preparation for his impending arraignment.
