Despite his popularity, the pastor’s unorthodox preaching style has sparked controversy, with some critics accusing him of promoting harmful beliefs.
Recently, a video posted on TikTok by a fearless youth has gone viral, eliciting both praise and condemnation. In the video, the young man accuses Pastor Ezekiel of being a false prophet who is profiting from his followers’ faith. Specifically, the youth alleges that the pastor is selling ordinary water as “holy water” at exorbitant prices.
The young man also claims that Pastor Ezekiel uses fake miracles to deceive his followers and line his own pockets. He challenges the pastor to perform more difficult miracles, such as healing broken legs, instead of relying on more commonplace healing claims.
While the young man acknowledges that he is not opposed to the church, he urges his fellow Kenyans to be wary of pastors who use deceitful tactics in the name of religion.
