Kiharu constituency member of pariament, Ndindi Nyoro had explained how he rose from a librarian to being a celebrated MP.
Ndindi who was speaking during a prize giving ceremony at Thika High School encouraged the students to work hard and strive for success.
The two term MP explained how he used to earn sh 3,000 as a librarian at Kiambugi Secondary School.
“While in high school I had two ambitions; to be wealthy and to be a leader,” he said.
Nyoro is now earning a salary between Ksh 621,250 and Ksh 710,000.
Ndindi also went on to add that he used to mend shoes when in form one for other students before opening a canteen while in form two.
