Natalie Githinji asks President Ruto and DP Rigathi Gachagua to help women battling endometriosis

Media personality Natalie Githinji has made a heartfelt appeal to President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, urging them to support women suffering from endometriosis.

Natalie took to her Instagram page to express her desire for a direct conversation with the President and his deputy. She shared photos from three years ago, taken while she was undergoing treatment for endometriosis, to illustrate the severity of the condition.

“This was me 3 years ago. Endometriosis can leave you looking like a skeleton. Anyway, this is my plea today. A letter to the government: Dear Government, I would appreciate the opportunity to sit with the President of Kenya, Hon. William Samoei Ruto, and the Deputy President of Kenya, Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, to discuss how women suffering from this monster can be helped to manage living with endometriosis.”

Natalie also emphasized the importance of involving women in leadership in this discussion.

“I would also appreciate the presence of the First Lady Rachel Ruto and Her Excellency Pastor Dr. Dorcas Rigathi. As women, they understand all about periods and what we go through…. 🙏🙏🙏 Please tag them as many times as you can and write ‘please give her a chance.’ I would appreciate your support, fam…. 🙏🙏 Let’s do this together. PLEASE DON’T GET TIRED OF TAGGING THEM EVEN A MILLION TIMES 🙏🏽 Also, share this post with as many friends as you can and kindly request them to help us tag, tag, and tag.”

Her plea follows the tragic loss of another media personality, Mary Njambi Koikai, to the disease. On May 20, Jahmby made a sincere call for help to several Kenyan leaders, including President Ruto, during his state visit to the US. She urged him to invest in healthcare and consider the plight of millions of Kenyan women silently battling endometriosis.
