In an interview with Oga Obinna, Mungai Eve candidly expressed her stance on dating men younger or of similar age to her, shedding light on her past experiences and future preferences.
Reflecting on her previous relationship, Eve disclosed that she and her former partner were nearly the same age. At the tender age of 19, she crossed paths with Director Trevor, who was then just 20 years old. Their relationship spanned five years, resembling a marriage in its intensity, yet devoid of the youthful freedom they both longed for. Eve confessed that this was a regretful mistake, realizing they missed out on cherishing their youth together.
Now, at 24 years old, Eve has firmly resolved to pursue relationships with older men. Her decision stems from the lessons learned from her past, where she found herself entwined with a peer. She asserts that any potential partner must possess a moderate age gap of 3 to 5 years older than her. With this criterion, she envisions a partner around the age of 27 and above.
Eve’s shift in preference towards older companionship is a deliberate choice, influenced by the insights gleaned from her prior romantic involvement. She has consciously opted out of considering younger men, recognizing the pitfalls that could arise from a relationship lacking the maturity and perspective she seeks.
