According to initial reports, the accident happened after the bus was allegedly hit from behind by a trailer whose brakes reportedly failed. The impact triggered a chain collision involving multiple cars, leaving a trail of destruction on the busy highway.
Several people are feared dead, while many others sustained serious injuries. Emergency responders and police rushed to the scene, with the injured being transported to Naivasha Sub-County Hospital for urgent medical attention.
