man identified as Ibrahim Fadhili has been left permanently disabled after a shocking incident that serves as a harsh reminder that another man’s wife is truly a no-go zone. Fadhili’s life took a tragic turn after he was caught in what appeared to be a compromising situation with a married woman — an encounter that ended with both his ears being chopped off.
Speaking in a recent interview, Fadhili recounted the painful experience and insisted that he was innocent. He explained that the woman involved was a long-time friend from his village, and they had known each other since childhood. When they reconnected in town years later, their friendship resumed, but according to Fadhili, it was purely platonic.
He narrated that the woman had moved to town to live with her boyfriend, and coincidentally, Fadhili became their neighbor. After some time, the lady performed well in her final school exams and expressed a desire to continue her education. However, her boyfriend opposed the idea and wanted to marry her immediately.
Distressed, the woman sought advice from Fadhili, who agreed to meet her secretly in a nearby bush to avoid confrontation with her possessive boyfriend. Unfortunately, their meeting turned into a nightmare.
While Fadhili was counseling her, the boyfriend suddenly appeared from nowhere, consumed by rage. Without asking any questions, he drew a knife and viciously attacked Fadhili, slicing off both his ears.
“I tried to explain myself, but he didn’t want to listen,” Fadhili recalled. “He was blinded by anger. I’m lucky to be alive because he wanted to kill me.”
Fadhili managed to escape and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors were able to stop the bleeding and save his life — though his ears could not be reattached.
Now living with the scars of that horrifying day, Fadhili says he still struggles to convince people that he was innocent and only trying to help a friend. His story stands as a chilling warning about the dangers of getting too close to someone’s partner, even with good intentions.
