Luo TikToker Becky Akinyi, Who Claims She Has Never Borrowed, Now Asks for Help to Continue Staying and Working in Dubai

Luo TikToker Becky Akinyi has candidly shared the financial difficulties she is facing in Dubai, where she had traveled in search of better opportunities.

Becky, widely recognized for her vibrant and engaging TikTok content, now finds herself in a tough spot as her visa nears expiration. For the first time, she has had to publicly ask for help, a move that has left her feeling vulnerable and embarrassed.

During a recent live session, Becky, who has amassed a substantial social media following, opened up about her current struggles. She expressed how painful it has been to reach out for financial assistance, especially since she has never had to borrow money before.

“I just needed financial support, and I hope I get help. You guys do not know how much I have been trying to borrow money from people since the month started. Literally, no one wants to loan me money, yet I have never borrowed cash from anyone. I feel so embarrassed,” she confided to her followers.

The influencer revealed that she urgently needs to raise over KSh 150,000 to address her visa situation before it expires at the end of the month. Failure to secure the funds could force her to leave Dubai, potentially disrupting her efforts to build a better future.

Becky also mentioned that she has no close friends in the diaspora to turn to for support, often finding herself isolated and alone. This sense of loneliness has only deepened her feelings of helplessness and frustration.

Despite her reluctance and pride, Becky has reached a point where she sees no other option but to ask for help. She even contemplated returning to Kenya to work as a house help to earn the money she needs.

“I hate asking for help, but I have no choice,” she said, emphasizing the seriousness of her situation.
