Kiambu Senator, Kimani Wamatangi, is right now in hot soup in the wake of being accused of disregarding a child he sired with former House help.
As indicated by court records, Kimani is said to have assaulted the househelp and sired a child who is by now a student at State House Girls, Nairobi.
On Friday, the house keeper identified as Winfred Wangui requested that Wamatangi pay his daughter Form One entry expenses.
In 2019, a Children’s Court ordered the senator to pay for the child’s schooling, orders he has disregarded.
“School fees is paid termly and therefore it is not monthly maintenance. The defendant ( Wamatangi) shall pay school fees as per the school fees structure
“He shall also pay school fees related expenses,” Hon M. Murage ruled.
Wangui, who was addressing journalists, said the dad of her kid had stayed mum on the matter.
“The girl has received an admission letter to a good school but I cannot manage to raise the required money. Wamatangi, who is the father of the bright girl, blocked me and failed to respond to my text messages that I wrote to him reminding him of his role,” Wangui said.
She asserted that the Senate majority whip occasionally sent Sh5,000 for primary school fees.
She finished by saying she is apprehensive her daughter won’t join High school on the off chance that she doesn’t raise the money’s needed for Form One admission.
