Christine, the wife of renowned Kenyan motoring MC Dennis Murimi, popularly known as Dennoh Spinner, has opened up about their love story, revealing how true love triumphed over social class and financial struggles.
The couple first met when Dennoh worked as a casual labourer at Christine’s parents’ construction site. At the time, he was broke and struggling, having just returned from Qatar where he had lost his job. Despite their differences in background, Christine was drawn to his determination and vision for the future.
“He was broke but was not just sitting around. I decided to give him a chance and see where it goes,” she said.
Christine admitted that her parents initially opposed the relationship, urging her to finish school and doubting whether Dennoh could provide the life they envisioned for her. However, Dennoh eventually won their approval after securing a job and starting a profitable business.
Today, the couple is celebrated as an example of a strong, happy marriage. Christine shared that the secret lies in compatibility, communication, and intentionality. “Before settling with a man, ask yourself if you want to be with them even if the money runs out,” she advised.
The lovebirds keep their bond strong through staycations, regular dates, and open communication. Christine stressed that small acts, like making a call instead of waiting for the other person, can transform a relationship.
Their inspiring journey from mjengo struggles to marital bliss has warmed many hearts online, proving that vision, love, and commitment matter more than money.
