kenyan Pastor closes a church after winning ksh100 million bet

has astounded his congregation by shutting down his church following a significant windfall in sports betting. Pastor Tim made this bold decision after winning a staggering sum of over 100 million, equivalent to Ksh 3,480,000.

Residents in the area revealed that the man of God had conducted numerous outdoor crusades, sharing accounts of a divine encounter with the Almighty and showcasing miraculous healings. The community is now in disbelief as the once fervent preacher of God’s word takes an unexpected departure from his spiritual calling.

Pastor Tim, in an interview, left many bewildered with his candid admission. Contrary to the expectations of drawing souls to Christ, he confessed that his primary motivation for opening the church was financial gain. He openly admitted to being inspired by witnessing other pastors amassing wealth through attracting large crowds.

“I can’t deny it. The motivation behind opening the church was observing other pastors making millions by pulling in large crowds. I lacked the anointing, and my goal was to be wealthy,” he stated.

Revealing the sequence of events leading to his decision, Pastor Tim explained that the realization of his dream to accumulate wealth through the church was far from feasible. Consequently, he turned to gambling as an alternative means to achieve financial success.

“About four years ago, I started gambling. I used the money from offerings and tithes in the church to place bets on various platforms. At times, I even fabricated church projects to raise funds for weekend bets,” he confessed.

With the unexpected windfall from sports betting, Pastor Tim now plans to transition into the business world. Describing himself as a businessman at heart, he envisions establishing a substantial shop in a distant town and acquiring a luxurious car. In his words, “God has remembered me,” signaling a shift from his religious pursuits to a new chapter of financial ventures.
