Charles, recognized not only as a director and scriptwriter but also as a celebrated actor, made significant contributions to various film projects, including noteworthy works such as ‘Makutano Junction,’ ‘The First Grader,’ and ‘Count It Out.’
His presence extended beyond the big screen, as he played roles in television shows like ‘The Know Zone Changing Times’ on KTN, ‘Higher Learning,’ ‘Changes,’ ‘Mali’ on NTV, ‘Second Family,’ ‘Crime and Justice’ on Showmax, and ‘Salem’ on Maisha Magic.
Charlie’s exceptional talents earned him several accolades, including the esteemed title of Best Director at the 2016 Asian American Film Lab 72 Hour Shoot Out, along with multiple awards from the NYC Indie Film Awards.
