Karibu Wamunyoro: Matiang’i makes first visit to Former Dp Gachagua’s Wamunyoro home

Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i paid a visit to the Wamunyoro home of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday, marking his first time at the residence.

The visit was warmly acknowledged by Gachagua, who shared a quote from former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, reflecting on the importance of current efforts in shaping the future.

“The struggle of today is not altogether for today – it is for a vast future also,” Gachagua said while welcoming Matiang’i. “Welcome to Wamunyoro, my brother, Dr Fred Matiang’i.”

Dr. Matiang’i’s visit comes shortly after a tour of Kisii and Nyamira counties earlier in the week. He joined several notable figures who were also present at Wamunyoro, including Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Martha Karua (PLP), Eugene Wamalwa (DAP-K), and former Cabinet Secretaries Justin Muturi and Mithika Linturi. Former MP Kabando wa Kabando was also in attendance.

The gathering has drawn public interest as leaders continue to make strategic moves and build alliances across the country.
