I am deeply regretful of my decision to perform at the Jamhuri Day event, an occasion meant to celebrate our nation’s history and unity. As an artist, I always strive to create music that brings people together, celebrating the rich culture and spirit of Kenya. However, recent events have led me to realize that I made a mistake in my choice of performance.
In the 24 hours following the event, my YouTube account experienced a drastic loss of over 6,000 subscribers, and I am deeply saddened by this. It is clear that my actions have affected my supporters in a way that I did not intend, and for that, I offer my sincerest apologies.
To all Kenyans who were disappointed by my performance, I want you to know that I hear your concerns, and I take full responsibility for my actions. I am not perfect, and I understand that my role as an artist carries a significant responsibility. I never intended to disrespect the values that Jamhuri Day represents or to undermine the pride we have in our country. I only wish to contribute positively through my art.
I ask for your forgiveness and promise to learn from this experience. Moving forward, I will ensure that I make better decisions that reflect the respect I have for my fans, my country, and the legacy of Kenya.
