” I Fear For My Life” Police Officer Hiram Kimathi Goes Into Hiding After His Interview With KTN

Police Constable Hiram Kimathi has reportedly gone into hiding following a bold interview on KTN in which he criticized the government and rejected orders allegedly given by CS Kipchumba Murkomen and President William Ruto, instructing police to shoot at protesters.

During the interview, Kimathi spoke candidly, condemning the government’s approach to handling protests. He urged the state to seek peaceful and amicable solutions rather than using excessive force. According to Kimathi, shooting unarmed protesters violates human rights and the Constitution.

Following his remarks, Kimathi claimed he began receiving threats, prompting him to flee to an undisclosed location for his safety. While he stated he is not afraid of being arrested, he expressed deep concern about the possibility of abduction or torture.

“My only fear is being abducted and possibly tortured to death,” he said, adding that his life is now in danger due to the stance he took in the interview.
