A family in Maiyani village in Mukaa Subcounty, Makueni County, is mourning the untimely death of Renowned Kenyan Advocate Mathew Kyalo Mbobu who was fatally shot in Nairobi on the evening of September 9th.
According to the reports given by the directorate of criminal investigations , the deceased was shot and killed by an armed Gunman who shot him 5 times killing him on the spot.
The deceased was heading home before the tragic incident that took place in Karen, Nairobi.
Eyewitnesses reported that his attackers executed the hit swiftly on a slow-diversion stretch, then fled via the Galleria Mall area, with nothing stolen from the scene.
The Directorate of criminal investigations affirmed that a postmortem for Kyalo Mbobu is scheduled for Thursday at 9 AM at Lee Funeral Home.
Speaking about the death of his son, the mother called upon the government under President William Ruto to ensure that she gets justice.
”I would like to call upon the government to help me because he was my only hope, he helped me alot and that is one of the main reason why I would like to call upon the government to ensure that he gets justice” She said.
This is happening at the same time when Police on Wednesday traced the final movements of deceased using CCTV and mobile phone data.
The CCTV showed that he traveled from his city office to Sagret Hotel for a three-hour meeting and lunch, then returned to Chester House before being ambushed by masked motorbike assailants on Magadi Road minutes from his Boyani home.
