Hassan Omar has leveled sharp criticism at former President Uhuru Kenyatta, accusing him of disrespecting Kenyans through the handling of a railway project. Speaking candidly, Omar claimed that the railway, instead of serving the public as intended, has been left on private land, forcing citizens to seek alternative ways to access it.
“Huyu Uhuru Kenyatta anatutimba kila siku. Hii reli ameeka kwa shamba yake tunaitoa tufikishie Wakenya wengine. Huyo jamaa hana heshima,” Omar said, expressing frustration over what he sees as a lack of accountability and consideration for ordinary citizens.
According to Omar, such actions undermine public trust in national projects and raise questions about leadership priorities. He argued that infrastructure meant to benefit the people should be managed transparently and efficiently, rather than serving the interests of a select few.
The comments highlight ongoing debates about how government projects are implemented, especially those that affect landowners and communities directly. Omar’s remarks have sparked discussion among political analysts and the public, with many weighing in on social media about the balance between political authority and public responsibility.
By speaking out, Omar has positioned himself as a vocal critic of perceived mismanagement and has called for greater respect for Kenyan citizens in the planning and execution of national projects. His remarks serve as a reminder of the need for leaders to uphold integrity and transparency, particularly in projects that have a direct impact on the public.
