Kenyan gospel artist Peter Omwaka, popularly known as Guardian Angel, recently shared insights into his positive rapport with his stepchildren, who are nearly his age.
In a recent interview with a local blog, Guardian Angel expressed the strong bond he shares with all of Esther Musila’s children—Gilda Naibei, Glenn Naibei, and Kim.
“They are mature individuals. We have a solid and healthy relationship,” stated Guardian Angel.
Esther Musila, on her part, revealed that her children easily connected with their 35-year-old stepfather. She mentioned that the three children embraced him as an integral part of the family.
Moreover, Musila highlighted that it wasn’t challenging for her children to accept her relationship with Guardian Angel, as she noticed changes in her behavior and openly communicated about her dating life.
“One day I informed them that I was dating Guardian Angel. You know how children react. Being their sole parent, they were initially concerned. They feared that my involvement in a relationship might lead to neglect, but Guardian came into their lives seamlessly. They connected well from the very beginning,” she shared.
Guardian Angel, in response to online critics, affirmed that he has no regrets about dating the 53-year-old woman. He emphasized that the strength of his commitment to her transcends societal opinions.
“I prioritize my commitment to my partner over age. It goes beyond public opinions because, ultimately, it’s about the relationship between you and your spouse. Let the online critics continue their discussions on social media,” added the singer.
Guardian Angel concluded by stating that he has consistently disregarded public opinions about his relationship with Esther from the start.
